About the CKAP Forum
General Terms
The CKAP Forum is a private discussion group for members of CKAP. CKAP members come from across Canada, the US and around the world. Because of this broad geographic mix, the discussion group is designed to help members stay in touch and exchange information. Messages on the discussion group may include updates on individual rides, advice about equipment and tips on training.
All registered CKAP members (subscribers) are able to participate in the Forum and are given a personal username and a private password and thereby have access to private CKAP discussion areas. In subscribing to the Forum, subscribers agree not share their username and password. This is an agreement that all members are expected to honour. By co-operating in this way members can avoid inadvertently compromising another member’s privacy and avoid spam.
Funding and Advertising
The CKAP website and forum is financed out of CKAP membership fees plus donations and volunteer activity.
Moderation of the Discussion Group
The CKAP Forum is moderated by the Co-ordinator of CKAP with assistance from Directors or club volunteers as necessary. Opinions expressed on the Forum are not necessarily those of the club or its Directors.
