Using bicycle computers or GPS devices, CKAP members keep track of how many kilometers they cycle each week or monthly, your choice in whole kilometers. As you reach recognized CKAP km totals you become eligible to receive awards.
Terms for joining CKAP:
When you join CKAP you agree to the following terms:
I understand that CKAP is an incentive program to encourage me to set personal goals in my cycling, and that CKAP, its board members, family or any other person or organisation connected to CKAP bears no responsibility for my safety. Being an honour program, I undertake to be as accurate as possible in the recording of my CKAP cycling log.
Track your distances! Excel Cycling logs can be saved in a folder on your PC. They are formatted to do all the additions for you. PDF formatted cycling logs are also available for those who don’t have Excel.
All CKAP kilometers are cumulative, each year’s km added to previous years, as earned when sending in your CKAP cycling log at the end of the year. You will only win and pay for the awards in the incentive part of CKAP once.
Winners will be informed of their win and it is requested that they supply the CKAP Coordinator with a photo of themselves and their bike, to be used on the award pages of the CKAP web site and annual report. For the website, a photo that is portrait shaped and not landscape works best.
Badges cost $10.00 and Medals $20.00 each. One certificate comes with highest award earned each year. A 25,000 km plaque is offered at all 25,000 km levels, cost $40.00 ea. postage included. The 25,000 km plaque is not a required purchase – only if you wish to do so.
