Les Humphrey's - 36th.. Annual Tour of Quinte
May 4th. - 6th. May 2007
James your CKAP Coordinator arrived a day early and departed a day after the tour.
I wanted to try and get a few extra km on my bike.
I rode alone and managed about 100 km for the first three days and rounded it off at 400 km on the fourth day. The fifth day was spent
collecting flat rocks which I used to rebuild the small waterway btween my two small ponds. |
The tour circles the lakes and bays of Prince Edward County, off the shore of Lake Ontario, not a hour drive from
Kingston. Based in the sleepy village of Milford, near Picton, a network of loops explores quiet byways meandering through lands first
settled by the United Empire Loyalists more than 200 years ago. |
